Pipfox is a Telegram bot for Hyperliquid. Everything below happens in a chat with @pipfoxbot, plus a web page for funding.
Getting started
- Open @pipfoxbot and tap Start. Check the handle carefully — copycat bots exist.
- Answer where you live and your citizenship. That's the whole sign-up.
- Send
/setup: it walks you through connecting your wallet and approving trading, one step at a time. - Need funds on Hyperliquid? Use
/fundor the funding page.
What's live

Testnet beta means it runs on Hyperliquid's test network with practice money, while we finish security and legal reviews.

Buying & selling tokens
Send a token's name (PURR, $purr), its Hyperliquid token id, or its HyperEVM contract address. You get a card with the price, 24h change and volume, and buttons to buy or sell.
The preview
Every order shows a preview before anything is sent:
- Avg price — what you'd really pay, worked out from the live order book, and how far that is from the market price.
- Our fee — in dollars.
- Won't pay more than / won't sell below — your limit. If the price moves past it before your order lands, nothing fills and nothing is spent.
Protections
- Orders that would move the price more than 3% are refused.
- Between 1% and 3%, or on a token that barely trades, you're warned and must tap Confirm anyway.
- Tapping confirm twice only ever sends one order.
Why a little is left after "Sell all"
Hyperliquid takes the buy fee in the token you bought, so buying 3 PURR leaves you 2.9979. Some tokens only trade in whole units, so only 2 can be sold and 0.9979 stays in your wallet. The preview tells you when that will happen. Orders under Hyperliquid's $10 minimum can't be placed at all.
Perps
/long BTC 100 5x puts up $100 of margin at 5x leverage, so the position is worth $500. The preview always shows both numbers, plus the estimated liquidation price, before you confirm.
- Isolated margin. Each position has its own margin; the most it can lose is the margin you put in, not your whole account.
- Stops live on Hyperliquid. Stop-losses and take-profits are native Hyperliquid orders, sized to what actually filled. They fire even if we are down. If one ever fails to place, the bot tells you immediately.
- A stop past your liquidation price gets a warning — you would be liquidated first.
Gold, oil & FX Testnet beta
Hyperliquid also lists commodities (gold, silver, Brent oil) and currencies (EUR, JPY, GBP). They work exactly like crypto perps in the bot — /long GOLD 50 5x, /short OIL 30 3x, /long EURUSD 20 10x — with the same previews and on-chain stops. Common names work: XAU, XAG, OIL, EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY.
Coming from a forex broker? Size in lots and set stops in pips: /long GOLD 0.01 lot sl 50 pips tp 100 pips. We use the common MT4 definitions (gold: 1 lot = 100 oz, 1 pip = 0.10; EUR/USD: 1 lot = 100,000 EUR, 1 pip = 0.0001), and every preview shows what one pip is worth in dollars. Lots can be fractional, e.g. 0.005. /lots in the bot lists every market.
- Know which way you're betting. JPY is quoted as USD/JPY (about 157 yen per dollar): a long gains when the dollar rises and the yen weakens. The preview always says what the price tracks.
- Unified account needed. These markets run on a separate Hyperliquid exchange that shares your balance only in unified mode (Hyperliquid → Portfolio → Account type → Unified).
- Weekends: the real markets close, but these keep trading on a reference price. Prices can jump when markets reopen on Monday, which can trigger stops or liquidations. Size positions for that.
- Currency pairs trade less than gold and oil, so expect wider prices on them.
Fees
| Crypto perpetuals | 0.05% of each trade |
| Gold, silver, oil | 0.02% of each trade |
| EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY | 0.01% of each trade |
| Tokens (spot) | 0.2% when you sell — buying is free |
| Swaps & bridges (funding page) | Nothing from us. The bridge's own fee is shown in the quote |
| Alerts, positions, history, calculator | Free |
These are on top of Hyperliquid's own trading fees. You approve a maximum fee once, with your wallet, and can revoke it at any time.
Partner links. Some people who recommend us, such as trading communities, share a link that credits them. They receive part of our fee on the trades of the people they brought. You pay nothing extra, and there are no levels: nobody earns from signing others up, only from our share of real trading fees.
Funding
Hyperliquid runs on USDC on Arbitrum. Three ways to get there, all ending in your own wallet:
- From an exchange (Binance, Bybit, OKX…): buy USDC and withdraw on the Arbitrum One network. Usually the cheapest.
- Swap from any chain: SOL, BNB, ETH, tokens on Polygon or Base — converted in one step on the funding page.
- USDT on Tron: bridged straight to USDC on Arbitrum — no exchange needed. Open the Tron route.
Staying safe
- We never message you first, and never ask for your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who does is a scammer — even if they use our name.
- The only official bot is @pipfoxbot.
- Trading permission is an agent key: it can place orders but can't withdraw. You can revoke it from Hyperliquid at any time.
- Never paste a wallet address someone sends you in a DM to "receive" funds — send only to your own wallet.
Where it works
Pipfox is not available in the United States, the United Kingdom, the EU, Ontario, or sanctioned countries. We check where you live when you start.
Glossary
- USDC
- A dollar stablecoin. Hyperliquid prices and settles everything in it.
- Arbitrum
- The network Hyperliquid deposits come from. Gas is paid in ETH there.
- Spot
- Buying the token itself. You own it; no leverage, no liquidation.
- Perps
- Perpetual futures: betting on price with leverage. Gains and losses are magnified, and a position can be liquidated.
- Price impact
- How much your own order moves the price, because it eats through the order book.
- Agent key
- A Hyperliquid key that can trade for your account but can never withdraw.
